Kevin's Story
Kevin's photographs bring together two disciplines: traditional photography and deep-space astroimaging. A quiet, blue-hour foreground on Earth — familiar, fully visible — is paired with what lies far beyond it: nebulae, galaxies, and star clusters invisible to the naked eye. A telescope and a careful technical process draw out color and structure that exist in the universe but that no eye could see unaided. The result is a single frame holding both what we can see and what we cannot — where the Earth meets the cosmos. Every color and structure in these images is real. Nothing is invented; it's revealed, through decades of a photographer's eye trained equally on earth and on the sky.
